Keeps me up to date with current local news happenings. But even with my settings for sports turned off, I still get notifications for the Golden Knights, Raiders and UNLV games. I wish whoever is the admin for the app would categorize those properly instead of blasting them out as "news".

Downgraded to 1 star: 1) Update RCD 2/18/24 does not work, cannot open any articles. App frozen after opening. Now it's a nonworking app & cannot revert to prior version. PLEASE FIX!! 2) Further before today's update, cannot resize photos & vids to enlarge on the android Samsung Note8 phone. Unable to help when crime photos & vids are posted asking "if you've seen this person, to call Metro" because I CANNOT MAGNIFY PHOTOS & DETAILS on your app. Fix app to permit content magnification.

Used this app all the time until this week when it was updated now it really sucks. When will companies learn not to fix what isn't broken. I've been watching 8 news for 25 years very sad to have to change.
