Close to what I am looking for... Nice app. This does close to what I want. Please, can you set a separate max volume for sunrise sound and alarm sound? I want to use my own music, but by the end of the sunrise sound, I don't want it louder than my initial alarm sound. Thus, I'd set the maximum volume for sunrise to about 20%. (Perhaps I can get this same effect if you allow a much longer sunrise fade-in time.) And I'd like to have a snooze capability. Perhaps a snooze function can behave as the amount of time from the alarm setting. For example, a 5-minute snooze would behave as if it starts 5 minutes before the alarm goes off. And finally, with Android 4.0, it seems there is a better time picker which allows scrolling of the time. It would be great if you can include that. Thanks for a great app! Update: I'd also echo the wish for multiple alarms. I'd like to have an alarm on the weekend which has a different set-up than the alarm during the week. As part of this alarm set up, I'd like to set the sunrise time to a max value like 60 m, not the current max 15. Since I want to use this alarm to only wake me at the right point in my sleep cycle, so I feel more confident of it doing that with a longer sunrise time.

No longer works on my EVO I really enjoyed this app up until the latest update now it doesn't work at all no light effect no sound. Sucks that I must now uninstall.

Inspired me to write a plugin for Gentle Alarm Most dawn simulators allow for 20–30 minutes from start to full brightness, this maxes out at 15. This allows you one color; I'm not sure it would be difficult, putty maybe, to actually go from black to red to orange to yellow to white like the high-end simulators do. My Lenovo ICS taskbar stays up (it's not hard to hide), and there's an app title bar and a full width button at the top, mitigating the whole idea of using color. (Those can still work without showing.) The brightness doesn't go up either, it just changes color, but I have to leave a big buffer for a selectively lousy piece of hardware. [2 stars because it works, but it doesn't show a good knowledge of what the Android SDK has to offer. 1 more star because it's the best I could find. :/] EDIT: 1 star - it didn't activate at all this morning.

Not impressed Worked once. Next attempt didn't go off. Late for work. Considering an alarm clock really only has one job to do this app has now been deleted from my phone. Shame I wasted money on it.
