Device: nVidia Shield TV Pro tl;dr: Works great -- as long as you disable any ad blockers first. Just like the Amazon Prime Video app, this app may hang on the splash screen and display a connection error if you're using anything that blocks ads on your device, whether directly or indirectly. If you're using any kind of privacy or ad blocking app, or a VPN or DNS service with any kind of content filtering (including for roadblocking purposes such as parental controls), this app may simply not work until you disable those things on your device. I'm using this app on an NVidia Shield TV Pro, and it works just fine -- once I disable Blockade and make sure I'm not connected to my VPN service (or at least that I have certain options disabled). This, of course, means that I'll end up using the app far less than if I didn't have to take those additional steps (or else run into the error message because I forgot to do so). But the same is true for Amazon Prime Video, and I actually pay for a subscription to that while IMDB is free. That said, the app is definitely useful for cord-cutters. Most of the available movies are Blisters, but a lot of decent tv series are included, especially older ones. This is probably an app you open when you don't want to watch anything in particular, but there's a lot of good (if older) content available, and for free (but with ads, of course). So even with the annoying incompatibility with certain ad blocking and privacy apps/services, I'd still recommend it as another tool in the cord cutter's toolbox.

After one month of working fine both Amazon freevee and Prime video refused to work on my Sony Smart TV. all the other apps on my Smart TV are working fine, so there's obviously a bug with these apps. And no it's not the Wi-Fi. It's not connectivity problems. It's the app! Stop making people jump through hoops to fix your bugs.

Really? Can't remove something from "continue watching"? Had a guest watch a show on my account and there is no option to remove it from my continue watching section. Seriously, isn't this a basic requirement for a streaming service? Uninstalled.

Freevee is let down by the constant buffering you get to see when watching....anything. Sort out the buffering and I then I think you've really got something here.

This app shouldn't be named "IMDb" as it's just a streaming service not really the IMDb that I use to make a watch list and find latest movies an TV series.
