Anyone who's hard to write up a safety plan on a piece of paper during a counselling session might know how easy it is for said plan to end up scrunched at the bottom of your bag or pocket - only for it to end up lost by the time there's a crisis. Having it on your phone makes it so much easier to access when you need it. The app itself is very seamless and easy to use. I wish I had known about this earlier! I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with severe mental health issues.

This app is highly regarded and for a good reason! Writing a safety plan can be daunting and confronting (especially when you're not doing great) but by using Beyond Now things are broken down, can be edited and there are suggestions that can be added for each stage. Plus sharing with your important people (friends, family, psych, GP, etc.) is super easy. The only reason I've not given a full 5 stars is because the plan can't be saved to an account and shared across devices or restored if needed.

What an actual useless app. "Reasons to live?" There are none. Obviously there are none. "Who can you talk to?" No one. I thought this app would be helpful, advise, or testing or something. But no.

In my opinion, this couldn't stop someone from taking their own life or helping with suicide thoughts. It really didn't help me anyway

As someone who has been dealing with suicidal tendencies for over 20 years
now, this is a load of BS!! If you have a half decent GP & or
Psychologist/Psychiatrist/ Councillor, you'd already have an effective plan
to follow. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is truly suffering from
any mental health issues.

It might be useful but all I get is an eror message when I try to set up my plan. It wouldn't want to be a life and death situation, oh hang on it is!
