Excellent!!! I have Sony headphones Wh-1000xm4 and Sony TV Kd-55xh8096... I bought the TV cos it has Bluetooth (amongst other reasons). Super disappointed to find out the TV does not have a2dp and won't connect to my new Sony headphones - feel a bit ripped off. I read about this app and decided to try it. Had to do the scan 3 or 4 times and make sure my headphones disconnected from my phone, but it worked. Sony kd-55xh8096 does have a2dp for headphones - they just disable it. This app worked a treat. My headphones auto-connect when I turn them on and the TV Bluetooth source can be switched via the Sony Headphones app on my phone (as long as you stop sound source first). Thanks and highly recommended. Tried my son's Beats headphones and we couldn't get it to work. But it did work a treat for my Sony headphones.

Worked first time on my new Sony TV. Thanks! How do I donate? You mention on a couple of answers to other reviews that their Sony TV may not have A2DP support, which is why the app may not work. Sony have confirmed that mine doesn't, yet the app still works very well. Are they just not switching on features on the Bluetooth chip? I had to use your app for both headphones and strangely enough my keyboard too!

The app installed easily and found my Samsung Galaxy Buds+ quickly, but when I try to connect, nothing happens. I have a Sony XBR-75X850D.

I downloaded both the free and the paid version of this app and neither worked. I have a Sony X800H tv. I TRIED TO PAIR a pair of Cowin Se7 ....no go 🙁. Then I tried a pair of Skull candy......... nada. I am just about to get a refund. I am so very disappointed... I really wanted this to work.
