I have to really thank Breathe Easy for making this app. It has been such a relief to do PFT testing during the pandemic, and it has genuinely helped me improve my breathing and gotten more comfortable doing breathing tests. The one time I did have a problem they responded to me immediately with tips that fixed it

Couldn't get it to pair with my Android on numerous tries the first time I opened the packaging. Pulled the batteries & re-installed them several times. Made sure no other Bluetooth devices were on. Installed & then re-installed the app several times as well. Gave it a rest, and tried it again about a week later. Paired in a flash! Did my 3 tests and was able to see the numerics and the Flow-Volume Loop on my Android. Results are very similar to what I produce in the clinic. Really cool! Saves me exposure to COVID-19 at the clinic! I had selected my local CF clinic in the pull-down of available centers to share the data with. Left a message with my CF center to see if they got it. BiG Thanks CF Foundation! Also, the USA tech support was speedy on returning my call. :)

This app along with the handset is great to have at home for doing my own PFTs. The accuracy is almost dead on with my function tests at the hospital, and it's great having this diagnostic tool at home to keep track of my capacity. One criticism of the unit is that it should come with nose clips for proper PFTs and maybe more than one mouthpiece.

Inconsistent Results. Sometimes it doesn't recognize when you start a breathing test and begin blowing out. My results are all over the place. Sometimes it gives an invalid result and says "you might have coughed" when I didn't cough at all.

No longer working. Maybe it is Android 15. The spirometer works with their app but not this one. Was working until this fall. I have an older android device at home but on the hospital right now.

Last update is awful. I used this reliably for several appointments with my doctor. I use it because my anxiety causes my PFTs to have inaccurate results when I do them in clinic. It connects to my phone and the device but shows a loading screen that just never loads anything. I've uninstalled, restarted my phone. I can't disable other Bluetooth devices because I have a sensor that needs to work 24/7 hooked up to it. Before the last update, it handled them both fine. But now I'm out of options.
