Good Local News App The local news and traffic Alerts are useful. It took me a while to realize the full details of the Alerts are available in the App by clicking the triple dots in the upper right corner and selecting Notifications. I was frustrated previously because I could only read part of the information in the status bar of my phone. When I clicked on the Alert, it took me to the main Newsplex page and there were no details available.

I once used this app all the time to check the news and weather but now when I open the weather section a video starts playing automatically and there's no way to turn it off.

Too bad..could be very helpful information, but app makes loud announcements regarding any weather...not just severe weather... even if you have not selected that option. No way to turn it off. I have tried deleting and then re-installing app, but that doesn't work. Very annoying!!
