I've used this app for better part of over a year. I've been on Road trips over 40,000 miles traveled within one year. This has always run in the background on my phone to try to capture data. Unfortunately sometimes it seems to not capture data accurately, or doesn't log data at all. But when it is able to it's spot on. I give the app the best opportunity possible to run. No battery optimizations, or background restrictions and no data restrictions. Great app when it works correctly

The best app, very accurate, I wonder why people write negative reviews. That is true it does not have access to all databases world-wide, in my case I was lucky to have correct databases and locations.

Free (cheap to stop unobtrusive ad), functional (don't know of another app to find cell towers with), and online they offer deep information like how to unlock all radios on Samsung phones (versus only what your current carrier can use). Not sure if it can crowdsource cellular quality for all providers, but I'd hope so. I'm still learning how it works and how to help (record data is needed, can't just run it).

Seems like the developer has abandoned the app. All the mapping I do never shows up on the map anymore.

For the last few years now, the developer ignores complaints. All along, the magnifying glass defaults to East Timor when it cannot figure out where you are, likely because it's the first in the list. I don't even know where that is, except that it's nowhere near me. And they have implemented a Captcha that doesn't work, which prevents you from changing it yourself. I still like the app, except that it's becoming less and less usable. The developer used to fix the problems, but no more.

Error messages won't go away and persistently reminding data connection when there is nothing wrong or after using the app. Towers are not clearly identified.

Recent update makes the app not work unless if you give it ALL permissions. Used to work perfectly fine, even without all permissions.
