Fantastic and amazing features ... but please add mass (bulk) sms text feature. I can't use this feature on chomp app but on other similar apps have this access. When I try to send bulk sms text to friends it doesn't display on individuals contacts .☹️ rather it shows that same message repeatedly as the number of recipient in one group name. Fix this it makes the app weird

On 2016.12.26 I wrote: I have been happily using Chomp for a few years now. It is a solid SMS app that can be used "out of the box", which is how I use it. You can make it pretty and frilly if you want, though. Lots of choices. On 2025.02.02: Samsung Messaging on my A5 (2017), was adequate for my needs. I switched BACK to Chomp after I got my Google Pixel 7. Chomp has message lock - a deal-breaker. Chomp would be awesome if you could pin conversations to the top of the screen like Samsung.

This is a great messenging app! I got it when Verizon got rid of messenger. I tried a bunch, and it was the very best replacement to messenger that also gives you privacy! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it doesn't allow bigger files like longer videos and doesn't help you cut them down like messenger did.

AI strikes, have chomp on pixel 7 & 8. Pixel 7 fine, Pixel 8 now has "AI highlights" which effectively blocks access. I really DON'T want AI highlights is this corrupt

Would change my rating to 5 stars if it let me block texts by keywords. Adding that feature would make this app perfect for me, since I've been inundated with spam/phishing messages that always have a similar keyword in them. Blacklisting phone numbers isn't enough because they almost always send from a new number each time.

I normally do not post reviews. I have posted 2 negative posts for chomp. I need to just find a new texting app.& get over it. I am so not a fan of this app. The limited ringtones. My friends w other types of phones are unable to send videos. Very limited
