★★☆☆☆ Ripoff, no FREE reader and jacked the card rate! Paynet Systems goes to great lengths to advertise a FREE Card Reader. GOOD LUCK GETTING ONE! The explanation is and I quote "The reader itself sells for 69.00. These are top of the line, encrypted readers. This is what you are getting at no cost." *Only AFTER you pay shipping and handling of $24.50! * My reply to that is EVERY reader out there these days encrypts the data in the reader AND THEY ARE FREE! We have been taking cards for over 20 years, just didn't need a "smartphone" reader until now. We fell for Paynet Systems offering of 1.59% and 25¢ per swipe fee. They charged over 2.02% on our first purchase! Even after a contract in hand! They do not tell you it will cost you $75 to cancel in the first 6 months, hidden on page 7 paragraph 16.1. On page 4 paragraph 7.1 (e) They also state if you "key in" more than 15% of the Total Dollar Amount in 30 days you pay a one time fee of $35, thereafter 1.5% of the Total Dollar Amount EACH MONTH (if keying in more than 15%). Without a "free reader" you key in ALL your purchases! Keying in is equal to "card not present" and usually always results in higher processing fees. This is why they don't want you to have a FREE reader! CROOKS!

★★☆☆☆ Totally Unacceptable Every time I have had to contact support for any reason, it is like the tech just rolls a magic wheel and gives me whatever answer comes up. Even when I get someone whose accent is not so thick that I cannot understand them, I have been given wrong answers much more often than correct ones. But the kicker was this week when I had a customer pay with a card, the Loss Prevention department froze the funds and made me send the customer a form to fill out and had me send them copies of contracts and receipts, and NOW they want the last THREE MONTHS of my bank statements before they will pay me! The customer has assured them they approved the sale, I have never had a chargeback or even a refund, but these creeps want me to spend HOURS sending them paperwork just to complete a sale! Then they said even if I wanted to cancel/refund the sale that they were refusing to pay, I would still have a $50 discount fee deducted from my bank account!!!! Unbelievable. Will be switching to Square as soon as possible. They are cheaper anyway.
