★★☆☆☆ Has an early beta feel about it. The UI is counter-intuitive - for example when setting up your profile there's no "Save" or "OK" button, you have to select the back-arrow at the top of the screen; and repeatedly clicking on the phone's back button doesn't exit the app as one would expect. Many of the options are just external links (to your phone dialer to ring the school or to your browser to open web pages). Calendar is potentially useful but needs a better layout and more information. Nice little earner for the dev, as you don't get far before being invited to pay for something (e.g. the math tutor). Instructions regarding setting up of notifications (in the explanatory leaflet) only apply to the latest version of Android - which many people won't have yet. All in all, "could do better".UPDATE: Tried submitting an absence from this morning, but apparently I'm "not approved as a parent" (even though the form was returned to the school several days ago).
