Great Bank. Great App. Phone (call) support for the things you need support for. But do yourself a favor: if you live in a new place (Germany), do your damnedest to at least learn some of the language--it makes things so much easier, and people are willing to meet you in the middle on SO many things.

DKB was a good bank, but becomes worse. I am good unauthorized bookings on my credit card. Communication with DKB is bad (hiding phone and email contact)

Lack of extra 2FA options in the web browser. If my phone breaks there's no other way to authenticate. Also missing Instant Pay. Should be standard already, but it's not implemented yet. They want to wait until October, until it's required by law. Most other banks offer it already. Also, the option to put cash into an account via stores was removed. This option was already offered in the past, but it's not anymore. I know they are working on it and I hope everything is going to be implemented soon.

DKB offers 3 free magazine downloads to customers with CC's. Downloads only work on website...which is now switched off! Contact by email doesn't work. Contact form is very, very hard to find. Very poor App and not user-friendly. " I get asked to confirm log in on the App...when I'm on the App...how does that work? Made with love in Berlin"... really? Update: my wife is locked out of her new handy-over 2 months & no help given. Email to ombudsman has resulted in a tel nr. Wow! Not helpful.
