Couldn't rate this any higher. Use this app with my Wi-Fi whilst charging overnight. Phone charges at same rate, doesn't get hot, doesn't use any bandwidth really and costs me nothing. Glad to contribute. Will definitely spread the word. Edit: For the past year or more the app has been defaulting to the project Cell Identity Hunter. Even when that project updated to the next phase it was still defaulting to it. Whenever I became aware of the change I'd switch it back, only to have the same.

This is for some Android users whose phones are compatible: some of them aren't able to update Vodafone Dream lab on Google Play Store, even though Tropical Cyclone Modelling (Phase 4) has the "Update to Power" button. For now, the only workaround would be to install the latest APK. For example, I did that through APK Mirror after reading the Reddit post. But of course, treat certain things with caution and don't install an APK unless you know and understand what you're really doing.

Not sure what to say or how to rate the app! There are several projects to get involved with, either your choice or chosen by the app. It does unspecified calculations as you charge your phone and (presumably) sleep. Some projects perform several dozen calcs per hour, others do a calc every 3 or 4 hrs. No idea what is going on. I recommend including a social media account for the satisfaction of keeping your totals across phones ie if you reset your phone or change phones

Not detecting Vodafone network to contribute with unlimited data. 12th day into August and it tells me I've reached my maximum data limit for the month.

I loved the app I have taken part in projects like these for years. A few things need worked on. It does randomly change your research project you have selected. Then starting this morning it will not run the new tropical cyclone modeling phase 4. It says it needs an update but the app and the phone does not show any update needed. Please fix this problem and I will change the review. Thank you!
