I initially got tune bot free version, but it doesn't have the actual tuner, but it has some cool suggestion for the specific pitches and hertz depending on the size drum and resonance. I tried this tuner and it worked immediately. Its so simple once you know the tom notes/ intervals you're looking for, so I use both apps. Tune bot free to get suggested frequencies and drum tuner to actually tune the drum to suggested frequencies and works perfectly. Great app.

Great app! Really inexpensive compared to buying an actual drum tuner, especially considering it does pretty much the same thing. It worked perfectly on my toms, though my old snare presented a bit more of a challenge as there was a lot of ringing/overtones that interfered with pitch detection. I contacted the dev to get some help, and he provided tons of tips and detailed tuning information, and even went so far as to record a video just to walk me through it! If you're having a hard time tuning the batter head on your snare, try muting the bottom head with your hand during the process, I can say it worked for me.

App kept freezing up on me. If you're going to charge a premium price, your app has to work. Requested refund, app does have potential but has a way to go.

Waste of money. I can do whatever I want with the drum, however I tune it high or low, hit it on the rim in the center or close to the lug I will always get around 230 Hz. I can hear a pitch difference of a third and this stupid thing doesn't give a damn. 6 bucks wasted. Don't be me, save your money.

Uninstalled and refunded after 15 minutes battling with it - sorry guys. When it worked out it was OK, but it kept crashing especially switching on lug view, and then I just got a white screen and couldn't even open it, so I uninstalled. Just not worth the aggravation. 20/10/18 - Thanks for response - I'm on Samsung Galaxy S10 SM-G973F running Android v. 10
