This app is essential for interrail, both planning and travelling. Mostly very easy to use, but be warned, if seat reservations can't be made on it immediately, it usually means in person. I'd advise heading for the ticket office as soon as you arrive (however tired you are) and sorting them out for remaining journeys in that country.

There is definitely a learning curve to the app, but after figuring out how to use it and all its perks, it was amazing for my Europe train trip! I felt like I had alot of freedom within my travel days!

Horrible experience, I was never able to reserve seats and could only use it on slow trains, I better stop using the pass, it only works if you are going to use it as a nomad, reservations have to be made like 2 to 3 months in advance. The application is not very intuitive and has many flaws.

Not very intuitive. Plus the beyond the app issues with different train people telling you your pass isn't valid after you've already been scanned/approved by another is frustrating. Lack of ability to reserve a seat in the app puts you at a disadvantage when boarding trains with lots of reserved seats
