It does work firstly you need to locate the Bluetooth connection that says DQ-M8 connect it will ding when you connect allowing you to play music through it note that the connection is separate from the app you can connect to the app, but you also need to connect separately to play music

Security concerned - stay away This app does absolutely nothing. It was the refered app by a little light box from Amazon. It was named and referred via a QR code. But wants way too many permissions for a night light app. Seems like a trojan horse to me. Why does my night light need my phone number, and the ability to use my phone along with my exact location and identity? Why does my night light need to be able to modify my storage? Seems like it is fishy to me. Walks like a duck....

The Jainchan galaxy box works fine. But it was said to be rechargeable, but it works only with a USB connector on DC. Regarding the app, it doesn't even open. Though the box is connected to my phone via Bluetooth, the app doesn't detect it and refuses to open.

Does not work as advertised. Followed the instructions, which are very poor. Never connects. **Increased by one star as managed to connect after a reboot of the lamp. However, still not as advertised, cannot use the Bluetooth music function. Will be returning the device.
