This app has saved me a ton of money and even more time. Works great on all my Fords including 6.0 Turbo Diesel.

One of the very few app here that I give 5 stars to. I have used this software since 2019. I use it with the OBDLink ELM 327 MX+ adapters. I have refrained from doing any super heavy duty programming with the software, doubt I will step into messing with engine settings. But for getting all the other stuff on your Blue Oval vehicle to work and uncovering optional equipment that has always been there, all it needed was to be turned on, is pretty cool. As far as I am concerned the Ford SYNC-3 system is a hot mess, with too many fingers in the pie trying to get it to work, plus its pretty much obsolete! Why Ford continues to whip that long ago dead horse is beyond me. They need to rip it out and start over. Granted the APIM (SYNC-3 Head unit} is a part of the vehicles critical onboard systems. That said its kind of embarrassing that it continues to be such a mess! This software can help you with that, and there are plenty of online references if need be. Oh and you can download the 995 page BlackBerry programming manual from BlackBerry, their parent company, up in Canada for free! However, as FORScan is all things to FORD and the vehicles onboard systems. There is another company called CyanLabs that is all things to the FORD SYNC-3 system. For example, you can avoid the 100.00 - 150.00 upgrade that upgrades the Vehicles Navigation Functions for vehicles built BEFORE 2020 and includes the 2020 North American map update as well. The navigation feature died on my 2016. But the XM radio still worked, so I smelled a rat! Of course if your Navigation fails, so does the compass, and the vehicles clock. Tends to leave you stuck going north at midnight all the time. I had planned to take it to the dealership, tell them to fix the clock and the compass only, I used my smartphone to get directions with, so no need for that expensive upgrade! My smartphone works like most of them do, in REAL TIME! Not like SYNC-3 working with old news all the time, including the 2020 North American Maps and update! Since my navigation system failed at a very odd time of the year, late spring 2020. About a month and a half before the new update was to be released. Around the same time that all the clocks had to be reset in all that orbital tin flying around above our heads, they do this every 18.5 years. And it was over a year AFTER I had done the upgrade released for SYNC-3 by Ford in the early spring of 2019. That you downloaded from FORD and then it was pot luck if it worked or not. My update crashed the first time, but not the second. This year in steps CyanLabs and their update process is so simple. Even this Stupid Hillbilly got it done with 90% less aggravation than I had with the FORD downloaded upgrade in 2019. So to recap, if you want to stay on top of your Blue Oval Vehicle. Get an OBDLink ELM-327 adapter, or get a 4 dollar knock off from over there somewhere and be frustrated. FORScan for all Ford OBD-II related vehicle issues. And Check out CyanLabs for your SYNC-3 Updates. WARNING!! As you have read this review, you will have to read all the things at CyanLabs related to your SYNC-3 upgrade, or you will possibly BRICK THE APIM! And thats espensive Lucy!

★★☆☆☆
Worked until the update it will not recognize any of my vehicles although it does connect to the phone and the torque app works just fine....
★★☆☆☆
Doesn't work. Disconnects immediately when you try to read codes or log. Connects to the Bluetooth controller just fine... so it works until you need to do something with it.
★★☆☆☆
Doesn't work at all, Doesn't even connect to Bluetooth adapter, I've been using OBD check Torque App works good but i needed something else and this was promising, so disappointing.
