This is an excellent port of the FreeCiv game, works really well with a touchscreen. Like other reviewers, I wish you could see the entire tech tree, would help with my current game where I'm stuck on an island, and I'm not sure what to research to get boats. But all in all, an excellent port of an excellent game. Pro-tip: the game autosave after every turn, and automatically loads when you start the app. Just don't hit "Leave game", because I haven't figured out how to get back to the game!

It could've been a good port. UI graphics are nice and announcements will actually ping on the map, and that auto path building is 👌. However, this port still needs a lot of work. Choosing a specific nation using the slider is pretty much RNG. No tech tree and production queue is a big nuisance. Also, either I'm really unlucky or the game always spawns me in isthmuses and AI can reach ironclads while I'm still at phalanxes? This ain't large pox friendly. I'm sticking to the web version for now.

Workers can kill your veteran knight, and you can not save the game... Is it a joke?

This game is unplayable even at the easiest difficulty. I played for hours getting nowhere. The AI refuses to make any kind of sense. I get roped into alliance wars that my units do nothing against because the game is sloped against the player making everything feel anemic. Nothing feels good or rewarding. No matter what you feel like your losing. The AI replicates noticeably faster than you and is obviously set to a stronger level. Total garbage game.
