I think for a future update, you could add different locations with different creatures as opposed to using the same setting all the time while using the Random Level Generator. As for the atmosphere, it works quite well, and it gives you that sense of fear that something could happen at anytime. What makes it scary is that it's like a deadly game of cat and mouse, you could be coming close to the exit while the monster could be behind the nearest wall ready to ambush you.
