★★★★★ I'd love to be able to send personal messages to Garmin Connect contacts trouble is out of all the contracts only one has signed up and downloaded the app, and they did it to test it.

★★★★★ Good, solid and reliable app. Improvements: Messages marked as read or received in the messenger app should not notify on the in reach after it receives them from the Iridium satellite queue. Also, it would be nice to select and copy multiple messages at once. Otherwise, very stable, reliable and hasn't let me down so far. Compared to Iridium go, this is an apple product. Thanks Garmin!

★★★★★ All the negative reviews seem to all come from not setting up and testing prior to being in a situation with no cell coverage. I had mine set up and tested prior to being out in the mild of no where and it worked flawlessly! The key like it says every time you turn it on is tested it first!!!

★★☆☆☆ This app is OK my problem is sending checking messages when u have the app or anyone with the app. If the recipient has this app and for what ever reason they don't have cell reception, it will automatically forward the checking message via satellite to their Garmin. This eats up their allotment of messages. If I want to send to the device there is the in reach contact specific info, don't auto send to Garmin device... Please update, so it doesn't auto-forward to Garmin devices.
