I've never been able to get into my Government Gateway account due to some weird "can't verify you" issues for years, but today this new option got me in a matter of minutes! Gives me faith that my tax money is being spent well when there are improvements like this.

Useless. Downloaded to verify my ID to get a government gateway account, when I go back to my browser and click to link it to the app it just goes round in circles and I can't do anything. It's almost like HMRC are trying to make it harder for people...

Abysmal. It says that it has verified the ID, but then the website fails when I put in my address, claiming that they cannot verify my identity. I contacted support, and they say that means that it doesn't match the details Experian hold, which is nonsense because in my Experian account it clearly shows the same address and start date. The system is clearly broken. If Experian can't reliably verify identity then you shouldn't be using them. Fix your broken service. People livelihoods depend on it
