Grocery List & Shopping List

★★★★★ Keeps freezing and closing This app is wonderful when it works correctly. When it doesn't it'll just tick you off. Sometimes it freezes and shuts down, making it difficult to use on a daily basis. When it does work like it's supposed to, you can share your grocery list with your family and add things to the lists and they sync, and share recipes from websites as well as share your own recipes. It's pretty great when it's not glitchy.

★★★★★ Amazing This app is something that has simplified my life so much. I see a recipe that I want to save and it does it for me and then adds the ingredients to a list that is with me all the time. LOVE IT!

★★☆☆☆ Functionality Disconnect Great app prior to update of website. Now the site and the app are incompatible which makes using either utterly pointless. Going to the mobile site to shop defeats the purpose of the app, and who wants to make a grocery list entirely on their phone?

★★☆☆☆ Update disaster I used to love this app. I recommended it to my friends. After the update I was unable to sync my recipes. I have had to go back to pen and paper. If anyone finds an app that works like ziplist used to please let me know. Ziplist, your app is useless without the ability to sync.

★★☆☆☆ Site got updated, but app got left behind. I had been using ZipList for years as a grocery list manager only, and it worked wonderfully. Unfortunately, improvements were made to the website, and the app didn't follow. The list items synchronize, but the aisle categories differ. For instance, items on the website under the Home Improvement and Automotive categories show up in the app as Health & Hygiene. I can no longer depend on items being in the right order because of this. Also, the new "tags" feature on the website is not visible in the app, and the website no longer lets you specify a store for an item. It's as if they let their Android developer go when the company got acquired. Now instead of using the app I just load the ZipList site on my mobile browser. That has its quirks too, but at least the categories all match and the tags are visible. Just don't hit the back button! Your crossed-off items won't be crossed off once you get back.
