gorgeous... if you're jealous of the official Guardian Eyewitness iPad app, then this is for you... looks lovely, useful "pro tips", plays a nice slideshow. Live Wallpaper would be nice but would murder any device's battery...

Brilliant A simple app but if you like photography you will love it. The photos are either very interesting, or stunning, or both, thanks to the Guardian. And the "pro tips" help you improve your own photography, although some are a little basic, by highlighting what the photographer did to get the shot.

Excellent In the absence of an official Eyewitness app, this is fantastic. Programme launches in an instant, pictures download extremely quickly, even on a crappy 2G signal. It will store all of the pictures twice in a folder on your phone (the main pic and what appears to be a large thumbnail). This means the pictures don't need to be downloaded every time you open the app, but it won't take long before you have LOADS of pictures on your SD card. They can be deleted if you really want though, so not a huge issue.

Images incomplete On Samsung Galaxy SII the images are cropped. Totally defeats the purpose of the app.

Loads and immediately becomes unresponsive. Slows down phone too and makes it unresponsive. Evo.

Failed to load any image I spent a long time looking at black screens and spinners but no photos appeared. I'm using a galaxy s3.
