Overall, it is a useful app but not fully developed. Today’s update now has increased control of charging process. If plugged in and charging, you can now stop and restart charging. Charge level only updated by leaving and rejoining the app. No efficiency data is available on the app. Unable to set charge amperage on the app. However, with the latest update, the car location and temperature controls are now working consistently.

For anyone having difficulty make sure in the car itself you have "online services" turned on or the app will not function properly. This is under "privacy settings" on the #1 settings.

Why is this app so poorly designed? It's appalling for such an expensive car. - Constantly logs you out, even when you check "stay signed in" - No ability to schedule the car heating times, you have to click in the app each time. So unnecessary. - Very slow to load and not stable - Can't schedule charging times There's no excuse for it, clearly they don't care about customer experience.

I registered on Smart and then download the app and signed in. On my Android phone, there is no option to register the car using a QR code. When I scan the qr code a message comes up saying this is the login link not the activate link. Therefore, I can't link the car to the app. It would be useful to be able to link the car and app using the vin so at least the car will link, and I can use the app functions, like charging details etc. I hope there is an update soon to rectify this soon

Climate control is very slow to heat compared to the Kia App. It doesn't run the demist and doesn't immediately blast air at the target temperature the way the Kia does.
