★★★★★ Negative reviews seem unfounded. I was super worried when I saw the reviews here as could have ruined the whole game. No Spotify premium required, even asks if you are on free or premium. Yes the app shows track details, and they are not always accurate. The game states there need to be a 'DJ' and the track details are on the card so what does it matter what's on the app. Seems there may have been an update that caused issues for folk but our experience as of Dec 2024 was great.

★★★★★ Ignore the bad reviews, the app works perfectly fine and the QR codes scan correctly with no issues. Only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because you need spotify premium, which I had anyway, but it should allow other streaming platforms for those who don't use Spotify. Overall, great game and worth grabbing if you love music games

★★☆☆☆ Don't buy the game! Waste of money, app does not work. It has 2 options with buttons, 1 for free Spotify which does not work and for paid Spotify... which does not work. You scan the card, and it opens the Spotify app, not Hitter app, on the full song and name. You have to press play and thus see the song info the entire time. Terrible waste of money.

★★☆☆☆ It's a fun game but....you need a Spotify premium account to play properly. If you have a free Spotify account you can still scan the QR code, but it will show you the details of the song.

★★☆☆☆ Anyone with a Spotify Free account will have a terrible experience. Once you scan the QR code the song title, artist, and year pop up making the guessing game pointless. Not to mention the app crashes constantly.
