If you have a little patience, go to first time register & type your e-mail & card number. If the 'Uh Oh' message comes up, just keep trying over & over again until a verification code comes through. Took me about 10-15 tries.

I like many people was getting an error when trying to register. However following the advice of another reviewer, instead of letting my email address auto populate I typed it manually and registration worked first time.

Utterly pathetic. Simply cannot log in nor register despite using absolutely correct details. HMV staff confirm that they have not been told how it is supposed to work ("it's changing all the time and we don't know what's happening...") and therefore cannot help either. No reply to support emails either. A bad idea, poorly executed. And that's a shame for a brand such as HMV. I'm afraid that whatever loyalty scheme they implement next, I will not be participating.

Absolutely awful. I keep getting emails reminding me to use my points, but then the app never let's me in even when I do "forgot password". So, I have 16,000 points I cannot use 😡.
