I'm on my 2nd season (43yo). For my 1st one I trained with a fixed 21w plan using Training Peaks, it got me through my first Olympic and a 70.3. I was going to get another fixed plan. After some research, I found Human go, tried for 30 days and signed up for the year. It's been 3 months now, and I love it. My zones and workout are adjusted automatically according to my performance, and I'm seeing more feedback and improvements than before. Recommended to friends that are also using now.

Constant refreshing issue has been fixed. I did manage to add my Garmin account by split-screening Human go and Gmail, so I could get my code. If you switch to another app when it asks for your one time code to log in, the Human go screen goes solid white. Other than the above, the features look great, and there are loads of graphs and charts to compare previous days, weeks etc. I love that you can adjust your entire training plan, if you've had a bad night's sleep for example.

It's hard to really try to follow anything in the app (including on web) as some aspects of the UI are just so bad. The calendar is the worst offender, slow and sluggish, it will start jumping around randomly (presumably as the background loading catches up) even if you aren't touching it (on both android and the web). So unfortunately I've no idea how it works as a training platform as It's just so awful to use. The values it gives for things like estimated TSS on HR seem to be miles off too

A no BS review of an app with a lot of potential. Spoiler: there is no AI The Good: - Flexible replanning according to availability - connects well with trackers like Garmin - training plans and exercises are quite ok - sleek interface in core functionality The Bad: - plans do not really look at performance to replan - unpolished outside of core The Ugly: - There is no AI, dumb "Hugo" just scans for words like any chatbot 10 years ago - Insane pricing: £30 per month. Join a tri club for less
