Edit... Sometimes the app stops connecting to the stereo for some unknown reason... I've found that each time it has stopped working the IP Address of the stereo has changed. It's very annoying, but the remedy is to check that the app and the stereo are on the same IP address.... The app works perfect with my Google Pixel 4 and Android 10... Always buy Google Pixel, so you don't have compatibility issues... Samsung's phones have their own ui on top of pure Android, that screws things up

Some people complaining about loosing connection, I've experienced that too. But then I have to restart the receiver itself, and it's all good, so, for those struggling, maybe it's not the app? And you can edit the input names - Main menu - tap the 'wheel' in the middle left side of the menu - Input Edit Best regards

App not finding my receiver even when providing the IP address manually. Please fix this problem Pioneer. Used to work perfectly on older phone model/android version.

This used to be a great app, but Pioneer isn't updating it to work with newer Android versions. Really a shame as this cripples control of my Pioneer AVR that I paid a lot of money for. Of course, you can use the physical remote, but this app made things massively simpler to control. The fact Pioneer won't update this has left a very bitter taste in my mouth in regards to Pioneer. I have an even older Denon receiver that still has an app remote in the play store which works as of Dec 2022.

App hasn't been updated in YEARS. Are we being abandoned, Onkyo? After reading through the reviews, it's clear I will NEVER buy another Onkyo product. Going back to Marantz for future purchases.
