Installation not straightforward. To install: I have the smart fairy lights. I plugged them in, turned on Bluetooth & location, downloaded the app, gave it access to use precise location. App opens, swipe to the device you have & select. Hit the plus icon upper right, and your device will show up. On same line with device name, slide switch on the right to turn on, and it will start looking for your device to connect to. Connects, then works. If not seeing device, uninstall, restart exact steps.

Works pretty well, but some features would be nice to have. For instance, on my LED strip green is much stronger than red, so some sort of white balance would be great. Ideally it should be just me pointing the camera on the strip and clicking "calibrate", but even manual adjust would be better than nothing.

Once you connect the device, a "firmware" update will pop up, DO NOT INSTALL. Your lights will not work after.

I have the curtain lights and the app keeps telling me I have string lights. I can't use any of the functions on the curtain light settings which is the whole reason I purchased the light

Colors don't match when you select. For example, red is green, green is red even after performing the color correction in the app.
