We had a great experience! We really liked the views and history of Joshua Tree. I would highly recommend the self-driving tour app. It was a lifesaver when we had no reception and provided history for each stop we made, as well as Joshua Tree in general. Also provided alternate paths for hiking and sightseeing. Some of the alternative route stops have some interesting background information.

It was my family's first visit to Joshua Tree Park, and the audio tour was quite useful. I adore the annotations that say "must see". So, if you only have a limited amount of time at the park, you may want to focus on these locations. This is absolutely worth the investment, and I would recommend it, especially for first-time tourists like myself.

Intrusive permissions for an app released in 2021. No excuse to need access to my personnel files and photos just so it can store its own content for offline access. It's using an older version of an API or using the wrong way to store data.
