Haven't used the app in a while after fan issues on connected Joe, but the latest firmware is fantastic. Smoother startup, much more stable, and better response after opening/closing lid. Possible improvements: - Show temperature in notification - improve recipe searching and add favorites / save / voting

I'm (was) an iKamand user, and they just stop supporting the app without warning the community. They disconnected us from their server and my $400 device is no longer working. Don't throw away 2K on Connected Joe, like the iKamand, they will not fix their bugs and will let you down when time will come to conquer a new market segments.

App won't connect to Pellet Joe from my Pixel 5, Pixel 6 or Pixel 8 phones (tried many times). However, it works fine from my iPhone and iPad -- would love to use my Pixel phones instead. :-/

Brand new Pellet Joe grill. Will not connect to app or Wi-Fi. App just times out when trying to get the grill to join the network. Minimal online chat support and no phone number to call in for help. Tried 2.4 ghz only Wi-Fi network without any success. Pure junk. Would never buy again. Update - Spoke with Amado via chat and phone. Looks like an issue with any device running Android 14. You will be unable to add your grill to the app if you are using a newer android phone.
