★★★★★ OpenStreetMap works pretty well as a capture app and the recent update to iD editor has made it more useful for viewing lines/tracks while editing to verify the path of the road in addition to showing the images. App could use more features to control the minimum camera timing (for phones with issues taking pictures too often) and compass alignment improvements or an option to manual set the direction based on GPS movement direction since my nexus is not very accurate for compass readings (setting for forward, side, behind, etc.). Hopefully support for 360 cameras in the future. Since OSC is mostly open source self-hosting is possible but beyond the public repositories not being up-to-date the app doesn't support using another server to upload tracks. Would also be helpful to specifically state if this is for on-vehicle photos (Cars, bikes) or if it can be used for more (like Mapillary). Perhaps different capture modes for on-foot and point of interest, or since the website can be forked an OpenFootCam website for such photos

★★★★★ Disabling the map seems to stable it out. Still has an issue getting speed from an obd2 adapter. Adapter is confirmed working good via Torque Pro. Curious about payment considering the website and app make no reference in any way to it (what if I wish to change my PayPal email?). The only reference to getting paid is through the initial form I had to fill out. 5 stars if you guys hold true and pay.

★★☆☆☆ When I first found about OpenStreetMap, I was ecstatic because I am an occasional contributor to OpenStreetMap and this is yet another way I can contribute to "open" projects... But at the time of writing, OpenStreetMap crashes after just a few minutes of use, rendering the application largely useless. I will be reporting this to the developers, but until it is addressed, I can only rate OpenStreetMap two stars.

★★☆☆☆ The upload not on data setting does not work. Nice idea the implication is not so great.

★★☆☆☆ GPS was detected, but the app doesn't seem to record it, which results in defaulting the location to 0 degrees N and 0 degrees E. It is very disappointing to see an app that can't automatically connect the path taken by the phone camera with the phone's GPS

★★☆☆☆ Terrible user experience. ☹️ Recording randomly stops, shamefully useless message: "Recording had to be stopped KartaCam recording has encountered an error". No apparent error-reporting. ☹️ First use was 5-min. ride; app captured 4 images at end. ☹️ No SD card support. Static text at bottom obscures control. Useless, waste of time; bad pre-beta must not have been tested on this OS/device. ☹️

★★☆☆☆ Crashes on almost every key presses, crashes when entering the settings, crashes when trying to take a picture... The idea is good, but the implementation is not there yet. I don't think this app is ready to be in the play store
