★★★★★ Amazing app for ultra serious language learners. I can totally see how it can be hard for some people since the beginner level would often be the intermediate level in other apps. Probably the best app for serious language learners I've seen so far. Given the fact that it's free, and not very well-known, it has a lot to offer.

★★★★★ Incredibly useful app. You can tell it's designed by professionals with real teaching experience. I use the app as a supplement to my studying, to get used to native materials. The app introduces small snippets, helps you understand with vocab lists, grammar and cultural info, audio and translation, then tests your understanding with exercises. It has three levels of difficulty, with 20 lessons per level. I'm slowly working my way through them, and it's really helped improve my understanding.

★★☆☆☆ I would rate this app five stars for its ability to teach intermediate and advanced language skills, but it is not working as well as it should right now. I can't download any of the lessons I need right now.

★★☆☆☆ The beginner level chinese did not work. I tried three different lessons, and they wouldn't start.

★★☆☆☆ I could not get the app to work at all, either on an iPad or Android phone.
