Crash fix: try manual Camera permission. This was crashing when opened until I went to app settings in Android and gave it permission to use my phone's camera. Now it works to OK. Wish I could store my database details locally though.

I've been using the app for years and really appreciate the ability to update and search my collection when I'm on the road. Lately, the app has been having some bug issues (crashing, duplicate adds, and long, unresolved load times). Overall still my go-to library management app

Searched for a few years for something like this. The app ability to scan the bar code make a wonderful feature as I am challenged with my right hand in typing. Excited to browse other features and add books.

Edit 09.08.24: app has essentially stopped working. Doesn't load my catalog at all whether on Wi-Fi or using data. Can't even use it now. When cataloging volumes, the numbers don't flow in sequence. 1, 10, 11, 12... 19, 2, 20, 21... The scan feature also might return random entries as well as the one you're trying to scan, but doesn't give the option not to add it. Must be found and deleted from the library after. Overall a decent app, but has a few little flaws that make it a bit awkward.

I LOVE Library thing. The desktop site is fabulous. And the app USED to be excellent. Perfect for seeing if I already have that book at home before accidentally buying another copy. Great for scanning barcodes to easily and quickly add books to my catalog. But now it's completely useless. My library won't load, it's showing the same 5 books repeatedly. The scanner scans everything twice. I can't view or edit my collections. It badly needs an update.
