★★★★★ LingQ language learning - great way to learn in a different from the other apps.

★★★★★ Most of the popular apps cater to the beginner level reasonably well but don't provide the platform for one to advance to the intermediate stages. Lingq is great because it allows you to learn directly from organic material (of your choosing). I'm learning Arabic and instead of reading curated lessons I prefer to import news articles and translate words or phrases directly.

★★☆☆☆ I had previously well rated the platform. But now they changed for worst. The limitations to get a premium option has left the app completely useless. The users can't even have a chance to use the platform due to how useless it has become. If you really want the people to upgrade their experience, let them at least to have a chance to use the platform. ------------ If not the only one, I say that lingq is the best learning language platform I've ever used. And the app suits the web expectations

★★☆☆☆ This app wrecked absolute havoc on my phone! I thought I was going to have to do a factory reset or my phone was going to "brick". My phone kept restarting and crashing over and over. I did all the basic stuff, making space on my phone, clearing caches, nothing worked. It wasn't until I restarted my phone in safe mode which confirmed it was an app causing the issue. It wasn't until I deleted this specific app and restarted my phone that my phone has gone back to normal and fully functional!

★★☆☆☆ I just admit that I was incredibly frustrated to immediately be confronted with an upgrade to premium message not just when I opened the app, but also halfway through the first lesson, preventing me from translating any more words because I supposedly had more than 20 lings, which certainly wasn't the case, it said I only had 11. Whatever, I'm happy to come back and rerate this, but go in understanding that this is a premium app, and you have to pay 15 a month.
