★★★★★ I love this app; it's easy to use, no ads, and allows for background playback. I think the only thing I wish were added would be to select multiple episodes to add to Now Playing rather than having to go through and add a new podcast one by one. Otherwise, it is an absolutely amazing app!

★★★★★ The buttons look better now, thanks for being a responsive dev. Certain things could still be further improved: / Ability to just play when I choose an episode, no need to do extra steps like adding it to playlist and then going to playlist an then choose from there. / Ability to go to go to now-playing by simply push the control bar up. In doing so, reduce an option of drop-down menu as well as an exessive step / Also - now-playing page looks really plain, with exessive blank space eg: between tittles and thumbnails. / The episode list looks packed with words, not very friendly looking. Perhaps need to be rearranged. / Ability to relay on the lock screen, not just fastforward and next. Some times people are distracted and want to go back listening to it, from the control widget in the lockscreen. Best to be custumisable by users. / In-car buttons are not too nice, perhaps a bit nicer and not as irrelevant as it is now. / The progress bar perhaps, need a bit of a tweak - Import feature - It doesn't accept xml output from Castbox, so perhaps having that file format would be nice. /On a side note: All subpodcast by Guardian - their thumbnails look all the same on the app.

★★☆☆☆ I just want to listen to a podcast series in order... I'm not an idiot but it seems the only way was to select every session one by one (hundreds of them) and add them to a list... Gone back to castbox, the adds are annoying but at least i just open the series and listen...

★★☆☆☆ This app was always a bit buggy, especially in how it would never turn off. But in one morning of not using it, it used 41% of my battery and as much as 9.81 GB of cellular data. It had never done anything like that before. Clearly I had to uninstall it, and I don't think I can ever trust it again. Thankfully i don't pay extra for data, but I'm now out for the next two weeks. I don't know if there is a malware vulnerabity in Metapod or what, but it started acting very strangely all of a sudden.

★★☆☆☆ A podcast app that requires phone permissions? I don't care that it's a feature that stops playing when there is a phone call, I don't allow any app that shouldn't ask for such permissions. I could not test anything in the app because it will not let me go any further. Remove this requirement and I will update this review.
