I called today because I was having a problem with the schedules and the technician helped me within minutes. Everything was fine And I highly recommend Mr. Cool mini split heat pump It works awesome!

Instructions are very detailed but not oversimplified. The two packages came equipped with everything needed for the do-it-yourselfer. Initially I had a little difficulty programming the USB dongle with Android phone app but after a quick Google I was able to get the unit to go in to the programming mode. Due to its high efficiency I have been using my Mr Cool instead of my HVAC system during milder weather. Overall I am very pleased with my system's operation.

UI is Awful First, the app should tell you immediately to remove the batteries from the remote or else the app and remote will fight each other for control. Next the system should suggest using only alexa/google or the app or there will be another battle especially if the e whatever setting is on. Third, the non-descriptive pos 1 pos2 pos3 is ridiculous. How about a description vs force users to figure it out. Fourth do not allow comfy settings to override the off functionality.

Need to upgrade. App sucks because its features are 5 years behind. Scheduled disappears, can't share device with other people.

Unit does not maintain temp. Either +3 (or more degrees) in heat or just keep cooling to ice box. Deleting app and just using the remote.

Installed 2 ceiling cassettes and downloaded the app to control them. Got first one online after a bit of trying 7 led button push quite a few times. The second cassette after about 45 min of playing with the LED button and shutting off the cassette circuit breaker I got it to go online and keep its reference in the app, but it went offline. I called their app support and went through a lot of rigmarole and 2d cassette still not online. Gave up on app. USELESS!!!!!
