I agree with other users that this is a good start. The presentation of information isn't consistent from tree to tree (i.e. some have drawings, show the full tree at maturity, or just branches). Making it consistent and predictable would be appreciated for me as an end user.

Great app! Easy to use and lots of good info. Can you add a camera function to help identify trees?
★★☆☆☆
Junk. I expected a tree identification app BY THE LITERAL MINISTRY OF NATURAL RESOURCES to be a lot more detailed. It has no pictures of bark, it only has pictures of trees during summer and from far away. The pictures of the leaves are drawn, and it does show a bare tree, but that is also hand drawn. As strong-bad would say" DELETED!!! "
★★☆☆☆
Number of issues/gaps in content: -no mention of climate change, how it is affecting plant hardiness zones and the viability of current ecosystems, in general -no clear introduction on how to use app, describing what hardiness zones are, and reasons why (and how) to plant a tree (see LEAF and Evergreen for best practices) -no database of where to buy a native tree, or partner groups to work with/plant with, at your home or stewardship events, all easily obtainable (all about planting trees in Canada, thus relevant, and convenient to have in central app) -NO mention of invasive species, not even in the filter (all introduced are not invasive, but the invasive should be CLEARLY marked, with a notice to NOT PLANT!)... The lack of this info suggests you don't care what tree is planted, as long as it matches the present hardiness zone, which is deeply concerning. -Each setting in the filter should come with a bubble description of what it means and why it's important (or perhaps a "learn more about how to plant/care for your/a tree", with all the previous points mentioned above, too)
