I apologize for the previous review. After reviewing the developer's feedback, I reinstalled the game and identified the problem, which was user error and not the dev's. The game is a great little dungeon crawler with turn based combat, retro-charming graphics and BGM, with very unique classes that sets this game apart from others. It's a welcome addition to the rogue-like genre with the right amount of character and personality to keep gameplay fresh and exciting. Keep an eye out on this dev.

Netherkeep channels a bit of the gameplay one might expect from the original Final Fantasy - but with randomized loot to find on each level. I find the description of it being a roguelite misleading as the levels and enemies are mostly the same on each level. Healing characters can be difficult due to a lack of means for doing so and reviving your characters is extremely changed based - relying on finding items for it. Needs more balancing done for sure and bugs need to be ironed out.
