Update - It's a real shame that this service is dead. I liked that it disclosed the political leanings of the sites it lists, and listed multiple news sources per story. The comment section could get ugly, but they did the best to moderate it. Adding local news and possibly local weather would be a bonus.

Removed old accounts and replaced with Google in new update. The old system was fine but now all my saved stories are gone and there seems to be no way to get my old account back. I'm not willing to sign in with Google. Thanks for ruining what used to be a great app. What a waste.

This platform has been way too long in coming. So far, the community has been very centered (I'm not that nave) but the partisanship seems to be respected by all views. Finally, a place where thinking adults that understand and care about what's really going on can exchange views and ideas without hate and mindless rambling occurring. Hope the community can stay diligent and keep the riffraff out.

UPDATE: The new version sucks. Doesn't even run. As a backer who helped fund this app's development I'm especially disappointed since the original app worked fine. It's now the whoops bird app. 🐦 💩 I really like getting a spectrum of news sources with their political bias listed, so I can get multiple perspectives on a story.

I enjoyed the app when it was working, but now it will not open. All I get is an image of a bird holding a cut plug cord with the word "oops". I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still not working.
