★★★★★ Great app! Great assortment of recipes. Different types of food categories, easy, common ingredients, cook, and taste tested. Always able to find recipes matching ingredients I have on hand. Or search specifically by the dish name. Use weekly.

★★☆☆☆ The new videos all over the browse page are so obnoxious. The search is fairly useless unless you search the exact recipe name. No dark mode. The browse page (should be called home page) only lets you browse categories they've thrown together, rather than having the ability to browse by general categories (meal type, protein, etc.).

★★☆☆☆ From the best to the worst. This app used to be the perfect recipe app. I pay for a NYT subscription primarily because of this app and service. With the latest update, the entire recipe page is covered in videos/reels/shorts - whatever you want to call them. It's a recipe app. I want to access the recipes, not waste time and space scrolling through video after video. Make the videos optional or remove them from the recipe screen altogether - this will be the reason I switch from nyt cooking
