When I send money to family they get it very fast

Pangaea is not very transparent. Not only do they charge you $2 - $4 per transaction (regardless of amount), they also shave off 2 - 3% on the exchange rate. Many orher remittance companies only charge one or the other (fee or percentage of exchange rate). There is no need to charge for both, other than greed. Buyer beware. Developer commented they are committed to offering the best exchange rates, but 2 - 3% below actual exchange rates (on top of $2 - $4 fees) shows their comment is dishonest.

This is an awful unreliable app. You will send a transfer they will charge your card and then tell you they need more information. You give him the information they need, and then they tell you they have to cancel the transfer. Then you have to wait to get your money back. Has happened twice now.

I have used Pangaea for several years with success. I only send expense money in small amounts to 3 families when they are in need. Suddenly, Pangaea says I have violated their guidelines and canceled my account. No explanation other than I violated somehow by sending to the same families I have sent to since I first used Pangaea. Beware! They will cut you off with no warning and no explanation!
