Panic Button (Unsupported)

★★★★★ Well done Works great for me. It's well thought out and comprehensive. My guess is that some of the bad ratings came from an earlier version. I tried a number of similar apps and this one was best.

Developer responded quickly and pointed out the issues I experienced are due to Android 4.4 and they are resolving them, great! -- Just installed and tested the application, there is some odd behaviour: - Sent SMS messages can be found in the Messaging app. This pretty much defeats the purpose of trying to have the app as stealthy as possible. - After setting up the application and launching a panic, I find myself in a launcher that is not my own (I use Nova Launcher, am assuming I'm seeing the default after opening the app). Hitting the home button a bunch of times resolved this. Details of my phone & os available upon request.

★★☆☆☆ Not good I sent one alert to test it and it kept sending messages all night long, and although that is good in case of an emergency, I should have been able to turn off the alerts too if I wanted to..

★★☆☆☆ Sends false warnings and can't stop it without uninstalling Good idea, but today it decided to text my contacts incessantly and I couldn't figure out how to stop the texts without uninstalling the app. Problem#1: I didn't set off the panic alarm so I don't know what set the app off. My phone screen was off, and I didn't press the power button at all. Problem#2: Even if I was in danger, it seems the app is set up to text your contacts every few minutes. It's overkill and seems like more of an annoyance to my contacts than being helpful.
