User will have to log in again if he previously opened the app in Wi-Fi

Has worked fine for over a year but recently will log me out when I exit the application, then once I am logged in, it says I have no tickets (I have purchased a monthly pass) and when I try to validate my ticket it says "Connection Error: Try Again"

It stopped working after the Metro pole switched to the new printed tickets (worst idea ever btw, the ink wears out in contact with other surfaces such as wallets' clothing 🙄). Now the QR code scanning doesn't work. The NFC scanning opens Google wallet but won't do much more things than that. The new tag tickets are not occasional user-friendly.
