★★★★★ Proton Mail delivers great efficiency and security. The various features wirk well and streamline communication.

★★★★★ Has some useful features Gmail doesn't, and is overall more privacy respecting. It's also included in Proton Unlimited which, even though I use the free tier, I think it's well worth the price for all it offers. The free tier is also fairly good, so you don't necessarily need to pay to have a good experience. As for the app itself, it has worked well for my use case, though it's missing a few features like e-mail aliasing (or at least the design isn't intuitive enough because I couldn't find it)

★★☆☆☆ Awful customer support, wanted to claim the discount to move from 1password. Sent invoice, with a clear intent to join. Then asked if wanted to proceed? Replied then nothing. Obviously they don't need additional customers. Can't be bothered now!!!!!! Update. I've deleted my account, I've been speaking to support on Twitter, but they haven't helped much either.

★★☆☆☆ The shortcut feature that opens "send mail" dialogue when selecting a text containing an email adress sucks. Edit: it's a feature in android like when using copy and paste symbol, it shoes send email button too, but it doesn't ork for ProtonMail but works for gmail

★★☆☆☆ Tracks IP Update: blocks certain email address domains unless you pay premium. While the developer claims this is untrue, it is. Proton mail does not let you use an unpaid account to establish an account with third party software such as on Instagram, Facebook, etc.
