The builders installed this thermostat for the underfloor heating in a garden room, so to remotely turn it on and off was brilliant. Struggled to connect it to the Wi-Fi but managed it after playing around with a few things. It's working great now. My only issue is how do you link it to Google Home? When I go into the Google Home app to set up a new device it cannot find the Pro Warm thermostat, and there is no Pro Touch app listed under the 'Linked Services'. Yet, in the Pro Touch app under 'Supported Third-party Control', Google Assistant is listed.

Flashing Icon was there straight from powering up and connected flawlessly. Much easier to use the app to set up. Yes, it only works on 2.4 GHz, but this is the better frequency for distance, the chances of your router not being set for that is remote Like all Wi-Fi devices, if it is out of range it will not connect. The only negative, I can't find any information about setting up 'energy use' I will have to contact Prow arm.

TIP: Set your Wi-Fi router wireless signal to 2.4ghz just for the setup process. Once your thermostat is sync'd switch back your Wi-Fi router to its previous settings (often dual-band so both 2.4 and 5ghz) and app will still work. Generally the app works well, the instructions are poor when it comes to the "schedule settings". Wake: means what time you want the heating to come on (on) Leave: when you leave for work (off) Return: what time you return from work (on) Sleep: when you go bed (off)

I have been trying to connect a pro warm protouch thermostat to the Wi-Fi all evening, it does not work. Has anyone got a solution?

Awful app. Almost impossible to connect my underfloor heating thermostats as the system only works on 2.4ghz which means fiddling with the router and using a device that runs 2.4ghz to set the parameters (if you still have one). Then after a few months all the settings are forgotten, and it's back to square one. I wish I'd never bought the pro warm system. The underfloor heating itself is OK, but the user interface is of shockingly poor design and quality.
