I remember playing international Ragnarök Online when I was 17. I LOVED it. I paid $50 every six months, was a guild leader, burned various BGM onto mix CDs for road trips in college, even won a Deviruchi shirt and install CD once. When I discovered RO2 on Steam, I played it with my husband. So imagine my effusive joy upon discovering Ragnarök Origin. This is like the iRO of my youth but refined, cultivated lovingly, and matured. Any youthful gripes are gone. It's nearly perfect. Thank you.

They are doing better lately ever since adding the diamond economy which equalizes fun for f2p players, but it is a p2w game. I have spent a few bucks on some cosmetic must have. I gave up being a dps build because the scaling of pay to win ruin dps. I enjoy it now as a support. They made class change free! The socializing aspects are why I play it to have fellow Rag nerds to game with. They added better pvp modes and more cross server events. This is a fun nostalgic MMO for OG Rag players!

This is a scam game. Please do not fall for their trap. It creates event for people to top -up spend a lot of money. Eventually they will remove the game next month and create an exactly same game and make all players move to the new game and start everything again. I spent a lot on this game and on the process of dispute all my transaction. Worst game ever. If you like Ragnarök, better play other server, this is a total scam server

The game is extremely pay 2 wins. No surprise, seeing as Ragnarök online was one of the originators of loot boxes. Don't bother playing unless you are ready to swipe. Cash shop costumes with stats. Equipment breaking unless you use cash shop ores (even then, the rate is garbage). I remember someone doing a calculation on Ragnarök online and found it would cost more than $1m to have a chance at getting a +20 weapons, and they've since nerfed the rates further. These are the developers you deal with.
