Wonderfully nostalgic way to spend downtime. Loved choose your own adventure books and DnD as a child and this one has me hooked. Only at the first checkpoint and it feels like I have cheated death a handful of times. No spoilers but I hope to do the Ranger his due honor...wink wink.

My only problem with it is the fact that I dont want to be a slave for the wizard. I wish there was a way to avoid being noticed completely if not completely then a way to prevent being a slave. I know that I have only finished the first chapter and havent advanced yet, but still for something this well crafted give the readers a way to deny the fate of what someone else wants you to be. Basically just me not wanting to be a slave is the only reason its not five stars.

Only 1 chapter of this tale exists. Decent story start, but no other chapters in over a year. Choices are few and far between and mostly superficial.

Should have been called "Ranger's occasionally-make-a-choice" And when you're pressing 'continue' through ten pages of choiceless text, somehow lose and then gain a whole bunch of health without doing anything. The main character has a bit of an attitude problem, which you can't 'choice' your way out of.
