★★★★★ Traveling to US soon and needed to make sure the chip in my passport is working. Tried many apps but none work but found this one and works great. Scanned the NFC chip and showed my passport info perfectly

★★★★★ It did exactly as described. I scanned the bar code on my US passport and then read the passport chip. The app displayed the information, so I could confirm that it was correct.

★★☆☆☆ BEWARE, this app requires you to take photo of your passport. It may steal your identity. It seems the app perform OCR rather than read data via NFC.

★★☆☆☆ Doesn't work on german cards like old style german driving licenses which don't have I'd bar!

★★☆☆☆ Won't proceed without camera permission. When permission is refused, app will not allow you to proceed to type the data manually. Also, there's Full Network Access in permission list.

★★☆☆☆ Why does it ask to give access to phone's camera and take photo of the passport? That's ridiculous.
