★★★★★ App works well with the tower, I'm impressed. It's easy to use, though the pips on the encounters (regarding advantages) is not easy to understand and required a YouTube video to assist. It could certainly use a tutorial of some kind. It works well in the game though and adds a lot to the experience. The connection to the tower was instant and connected again fine when changing batteries. The tower itself needed new batteries a bit too often, but it's not the fault of this app.

★★★★★ Very well design companion app that allows the players to interact with the board game in a very natural manner. The only thing I would like them to add is an advantage counter for fights.

★★☆☆☆ I still have my original Dark Tower game from the 80s. I also have the game on my iPad. I have an android phone and was excited to find this game. I know it's not the Dark Tower game I was used to playing, and was a little excited to see what this new version was like. Well, I must say I'm highly disappointed. Instructions are hard to follow. It's very confusing. And the COST of the things you need to buy just to play the game? You ruined a fun game. I'll stick with the original board game.
